Who we are.

 

History

RGI was founded in 1996 as APT Services, Inc. Following a decade of profitable growth, two of APT's principals - Ross Ridgeway and Ben Ridgeway - acquired the company and renamed it RGI. 

Today, RGI continues to provide highly-acclaimed support services to federal clients. We are also engaged with a diverse portfolio of industry clients and partners, pursuing a range of growth opportunities.

President

Ross J. Ridgeway

Ross draws upon over 27 years of experience, including nearly a decade as a federal employee and 18 years providing leadership to small and mid-sized companies. His roles have ranged from software developer and project manager to business executive and organizational change agent. In particular, he excels in helping small businesses grow in the federal market through competitive contract actions, direct awards, and partnerships.

Executive Vice President

Ben W. Ridgeway

Ben is the senior adviser to RGI’s President in leading and administering the company. With over 50 years of experience in federal acquisition management - from the public and private sectors - his broad expertise is a valuable asset to both RGI and our clients.

Ben began his federal career serving as a contracting officer for nearly a decade with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in Huntsville, Alabama. In 1972, he joined the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a supervisory contracting officer in Oklahoma City. Ben then served as the Director of the Office of Acquisition at FAA’s Aeronautical Center from 1979 until his retirement from federal service in 1994. Since then he has provided leadership and consulting for small and mid-sized businesses providing a broad range of services to numerous federal clients.
